Noticing the essence of who we are

uncovering our true nature

One does not have to sit in front of a wall for thousands of hours like I did to recognize their true nature.

We simply have to withdraw our attention from our thoughts and feelings and sink into the fundamental consciousness aware of them.

We refer to our Self a hundred times a day using the label “i” without ever noticing this “i” refers to the aware consciousness permeating us and not our body or our shifting perceptions about ourself.

If we abide in this essential space of conscious awareness steadily, a transformation occurs and we begin to re-cognize the reality of who we as the unified presence of being in the midst of fleeting experiences.

This recognition awakens us to the reality of our shared human consciousness and its myriad of unique expressions.

Although this discovery couldn’t be more obvious once it is clearly seen, it is not necessarily quick or easy to embody because our conditioning is so profoundly ingrained.

so what do we do?

a fresh sensitivity is needed … an approach that liberates our mind

A direct path revealing what we seek to be already present … inherent as our essential being nature, the essence of ourself.

To do this we must be courageous, present, conscious and free.

Courageous enough to question our beliefs and observe our most reactive feelings.

Present enough to meet our fears with compassion and understanding.

Conscious enough to see through the veil of perceived identity.

And free enough to walk the path we know in our heart to be true…

We begin by mastering the inward art of noticing…

noticing what is real and what is illusory,

noticing the difference between the ever changing content of our mind and that which is aware of it

and then the artful non-practice of resting in awareness
